The new manager is ? It would be nice to announce him for last game so he can be greeted by the fans .Won't happen ofcourse but the sooner he is in place the better its a very short close season these days training starts late June games July .

I doubt we'll find out before the season has finished. Any new manager could still be managing another side until the end of the season anyway.
I personally would prefer the focus of Saturday to be a thank you to Steve for all the hard work he's put in as manager for the last few years.

To announce it now, it'll either be Haines (who you don't want) or someone who doesn't currently have a job - which I suspect will go down like a lead balloon. if someone currently in work has already taken the job they'll want to finish the season properly with their current club. Look at the grief players get when they're seen kissing the badge of their new club before they're left their old one. I hope we make the right appointment rather than a quick appointment. Sadly I have to report I'm not available. I have to perm my leg hairs.
